Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has strongly condemned the “terrorist attack” by the Israeli regime in Lebanon, which left at least nine people dead and thousands more injured.
In a phone call with his Lebanese counterpart, Abdallah Rashid Bouhabib, on Tuesday, Araghchi denounced the targeting of Lebanese citizens by Israel following the simultaneous explosion of thousands of wireless communication devices, known as pagers, used by Hezbollah members and others across Lebanon.
The top diplomat expressed his condolences and solidarity with the Lebanese government, people, and the families of the victims and the injured.
Araghchi also said that Iran was ready to provide any necessary assistance for the treatment of the injured or their transfer to Tehran for medical care.
