China has reiterated its resolve to safeguard national sovereignty and territorial integrity amid tensions with US over Taiwan, saying it has capability to circle the island with fighter jets if necessary as US House speaker Pelosi heads to East Asia. Pelosi has Tweeted she will stop in Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, but made no mention of Taiwan.
