Iran-Russia's successful strategic partnership is continuing substantially despite Western sanctions. Recently, a $300 million memorandum of understanding for exports of Iranian cars to Russia was signed between the two countries. More cooperation and consolidation of ties between Russia and Iran are expected to come to bypass the unprecedented Western sanctions.
