The Israeli regime is clamping down on Palestinians in several cities across the occupied West Bank. The Palestinians are angry over the regime’s deadly raid into the Jenin refugee camp, in which dozens of their compatriots were killed or injured.
The Palestinian Red Crescent says 54 people have been injured in the town of Beita, south of Nablus. It said the injuries were caused by tear gas and rubber bullets. Israeli forces also targeted Palestinians in the town of al-Ram north of al-Quds following the funeral of a man killed by Israeli forces yesterday. Similar attacks have been reported in Beit Ummar, Beit Dajan and Kafr Qaddum. Meanwhile, thousands of Palestinians also held a demonstration near the al-Aqsa Mosque in al-Quds to denounce the regime’s attack on the Jenin refugee camp. That was one the deadliest raids in years, leaving nine Palestinians dead and many more injured. Another Palestinian was killed by Israeli fire in al-ram, bringing to 30 the number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank by Israeli forces this year.
