Lebanon's resistance movement Hezbollah says it has shut down an Israeli spy balloon.
In a statement, the movement said it hit the balloon over the Adamit settlement in the Israeli-occupied territories. The balloon then fell in the Lebanese territory. Hezbollah also hit the balloon’s launch base and its management crew. Hezbollah also hit buildings used by Israeli soldiers in the al-malikiyah and avivim settlements in separate operations. Israeli media say fire erupted in al-malikiyah following the attack. The movement also hit the command headquarters of the 801st Brigade in the Ma'ale Golani barracks with rockets. Meanwhile, Lebanese media say Israeli warplanes and artillery have bombarded various towns and villages in southern Lebanon, including Kafr Kila.
