Tens of thousands of people rallied and marched through the capital Seoul to demand climate justice, a cause made ever more challenging by the recent ignorant remarks of US President Donald Trump at the United Nations. They called for South Korea to set CO2 reduction targets, transition to renewable energy, and halt arms industry development and exports among other goals.
