Tensions along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border have once again flared up after fresh clashes broke out between the former allies — leaving dozens dead and wounding many others. Both militaries exchanged heavy gunfire across the frontier, reviving fears of a prolonged standoff as regional insurgency continues to surge.
