While the Isreali prime pinister Benjamin Netanyahu prepares to meet with US president Donald Trump to discuss moving to the second phase of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip a multitude of questions remain. All throughout the genocidal onslaught of the past 2 years we have heard his cabinet plans to quote capture Gaza altogether, with Israel’s far-right. repeatedly advocated for the expulsion of Palestinians and the resettlement of Gaza. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said that there will be “no retreat from the territories we have conquered, not even in exchange for hostages”. And now war minister Yisreali Katz has declared an aggressive expansion of Israel's settlement project, explicitly stating the regime will not withdraw an inch from occupied southern Syria, and will establish new civilian settlements in northern Gaza, and push ahead with West Bank annexation.
