The Israeli regime’s latest decision to designate vast areas of the occupied West Bank as the so-called state property has sparked strong condemnations from Palestinian groups and regional countries.
Hamas denounced the regime’s decision as null and void, calling it an attempt to impose the regime’s settlement and Judaization policies by force. The group condemned the move as a clear violation of international law and UN resolutions, urging the international community to take action to halt Israel’s violations. Qatar, Jordan, and Egypt also condemned the move as a violation of international law, UN resolutions, and the Palestinians’ right to self-determination. They called for international solidarity to pressure the occupation to halt such decisions. The Palestinian Authority also slammed the move, saying Israel's decision to confiscate more Palestinian land in the West Bank would lead to de facto annexation of the occupied territory.
