We are a few meetings now into Gaza ceasefire talks in Egypt in a so called 20 point deal proposed by the US president. The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas says talks in Sharm El-Sheikh Egypt are gaining critical momentum and tangible progress on key issues including the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, ceasefire mechanisms, and prisoner exchanges. However, a final agreement has not yet been reached. The leader of the Islamic Jihad movement, Ziyad al-Nakhalah underlined that the resistance continues to confront the enemy and inflict losses. He criticized Donald Trump’s ceasefire plan, saying some provisions amount to complete surrender.
