Hamas has strongly denied the United States’ allegations of planning an imminent attack in violation of the Gaza ceasefire.
In a statement, the resistance group slammed the claim made by the US State Department as false and reflective of misleading Israeli propaganda. Hamas stressed that the situation on the ground in Gaza shows the contrary, saying that the Israeli regime is now forming, arming, and financing criminal gangs to foment unrest and target Palestinian civilians. Hamas defended its security forces in Gaza, stating they are performing their national duty by safeguarding citizens and property against Israeli-backed gangs. It also urged the US administration to cease reiterating Israel’s narrative and address the regime’s repeated ceasefire violations in Gaza.
