Doctors in England have started a five-day strike after rejecting the government’s latest offer aimed at ending a long-running dispute over pay and working conditions. Resident doctors, formerly known as junior doctors are seeking a return of salaries to their 2008-2009 levels before they were eroded by inflation. Saeed Pourreza has filed this report from London.
