Around the world governments, civil society and ordinary people have condemned the U.S. actions against Venezuela and demanded the U.S. release President Nicolas Maduro. In South Korea, civic leaders gathered near the U.S. embassy to protest against U.S. imperialism and call on their own government, a U.S. ally, to take action to rein in Donald Trump's imperial oil heist, and end threats to other states.
