Suffering in Gaza reach unimaginable level

The leader of Hamas in Gaza has renewed the movement’s call for international pressure on Israel to lift the blockade on humanitarian aid delivery to the war-torn territory.

Al-Hayya warned that the suffering of the people of Gaza has reached unimaginable levels. He said over the past twenty-two months, the resistance leadership has employed every available channel to end the Israeli aggression. He added that the group was caught off guard when both the Israeli delegation and the US envoy abruptly withdrew from the latest round of the Gaza ceasefire talks. He called the US-Israeli decision a “blatant move” aimed at derailing negotiations and prolonging the war. Al-Hayyia also rejected what he described as “the occupation’s negotiation games,” asserting that the Palestinian people must not be used as pawns in political maneuvering. He emphasized that there is no point in continuing negotiations as long as the Palestinian people in Gaza face genocide, starvation, and siege.
