Iran’s top military commanders have vowed that any act of aggression against the country will be met with “a unified, swift, intelligent, and powerful response” from the combined forces of the Army and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
Iranian Army’s chief Major General Amir Hatami and IRGC Chief Major General Mohammad Pakpour met and held talks on the occasion of Sacred Defense Week that commemorates the anniversary of the Iraq-imposed war on Iran in the 1980s.
General Hatami stated that since the Islamic Revolution, enemies have persistently demanded Iran “give up its rightful demands,” but underlined the nation’s continued resistance through enduring hardships and great sacrifices.
