Survivors flee RSF attacks in Sudan’s Kordofan, finding refuge in Omdurman

Thousands of civilians have fled villages in Kordofan, central Sudan, after a series of deadly attacks by the Rapid Support Forces, known as RSF. Most of them have found refuge in Omdurman, a major city northwest of the capital Khartoum.

Local officials say they’re working to provide shelter and assistance to those escaping the violence, as survivors recount harrowing stories of loss and survival.
